H: a song that reminds me of my childhood

Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles because some of the earliest music I listened to was music my dad played for me on his computer while I sat on his lap and watched the itune’s visualizer. He had a bunch of Beatles music he’d play and this one was and still is my very favourite!

Also Drift Away by Uncle Kracker (just found out thats who the artsit is haha). When I was little I went to a one room school that at a given time had around 8 kids including my brother and myself which meant literally our whole school could go to camp each year (actually we went during home-school week because we were such a small group which also meant the place wasnt as crowded). An older girl at the time had brought her walkman with her and this song was one of the first modern-ish songs I ever got to listen to! Honestly I wasnt very in-touch with music for quite a long time since I grew up in a remote community in Canada (in the forest by the ocean). It wasn’t until 7th and 8th grade that I was re-introduced to society and with it the music as well lmao

I: a song that gives me butterflies

Sink or Swim by Tyrone Wells

Y: a song I’d send to my crush (imaginary, if you don’t have one)

Probably the Cantina Band from Star Wars on a 5 hour loop

B: a song(s) to listen to before you go to sleep

Exile Vilify by The National and Nothing and Everything by Red are pretty soothing… I don’t especially listen to conventional instumental sleepy time stuff whenever I feel like listening to music before bed —-some of the songs on my nighttime playlist include White Blank Page by Mumford and Sons and Dirty Night Clowns by Chris Garneau

See this is actually a really neat look at how history works.

Who writes the history books?

The survivors.

Who survives?

The victors.
